Pillar Leaders was engaged to develop an aligned leadership transformation program across AusPost’s tech-focused leadership groups. Working across various levels of leadership maturity, our partnership centred on integrating People Leadership competencies with Technological Leadership competencies.

Our partnership commenced with a single team within AusPost’s Technology portfolio, but quickly expanded to over 150 leaders across the entire portfolio.

We developed a 3+ year leadership development program for AusPost.

  • Development of multi-tier modular journey for both Emerging and Established Technology leaders
  • Alignment of Skills Development Curriculum to AusPost Capability Goals
  • Leadership Coaching for Emerging & Established Technology Leaders
  • Level 1 Program: Four-module People Leadership Program, including:
    • Effective Communications & Giving Blameless Feedback 
    • Influencing Others
    • Building Resilience
    • Communities of Practice
  • Level 2 Program: Two-module Advanced People Leadership Program, including:
    • Trust Building & Relationship Management
    • Coaching & Developing Others

Our pilot program with a singular team expanded over 3 years into a program running across the Technology, Engineering and Cybersecurity portfolio. Leaders reported this as a highly engaging & valuable program (our program curriculum was rated 9.1/10 and our program facilitation was rated 9.4/10 across the participant cohort). 

From this initial partnership, Pillar was asked to expand our partnership to AusPost’s People Leaders. Participants in this cohort reported participants improved skills in everyday leadership interactions, as captured in participants’ performance reviews.
